Do you want to enjoy one of nature's most incredible light shows? On this tour we'll go in search of the aurora borealis. Are you ready for a snowmobile adventure?
To enjoy this unique experience, we'll pick you up at 7:30 pm from your hotel in Rovaniemi and head to the Arctic Circle. When we arrive at Lake Vikajärvi we'll hop on our snowmobiles and set off on our tour of the polar forests. We'll spend an hour and a half zooming through these peaceful icy forests.
You'll be amazed by the beauty of the deep night sky and the glinting of the stars that guide us across the landscape. After crossing the lake we'll arrive at an open space where we'll be able to admire the famous Northern Lights. You'll be enraptured as you watch the colours dancing in the sky above you. What an experience!
After marvelling at this incomparable natural wonder, we'll warm up with a warm drink and some cookies. At the end of the tour, we'll head back to the hotels in Rovaniemi, arriving at around 11:30 pm.
Pick up
Pick up is from hotels located within 5 miles (8 km) of the centre of Rovaniemi. If your hotel is further away we'll contact you to propose an alternative meeting point.
Important information
Please bear in mind that as a natural phenomenon, we cannot always guarantee that the Aurora Borealis will be visible on this tour.
