Northern Lights Husky Sleigh Ride
Description
At the agreed time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Rovaniemi. From there, we'll head to where we'll meet the charming husky dogs that will accompany us during the experience.
Once we're all set, we'll start our 5-kilometer (3.1-mile) husky sleigh ride through the most amazing and fascinating landscapes of Finland. Each sleigh can be operated by either the tour guide or a member from each group, depending on how severe the conditions are.
Then, weather permitting, we'll turn our eyes to the skies in search of the sometimes elusive aurora borealis, either in the forest or by the lakeside. Then, our husky dogs will take us back to the place where we started the route.
Finally, we'll accompany you back to your hotel in Rovaniemi arriving 2 hours later.
Northern Lights
The aurora borealis is a natural phenomenon so although it's very common to see it during the tour, it cannot be guaranteed.
Hotel Pickup
Pickup usually takes place between 5:30 pm and 8 pm at hotels located within a radius of 15 kilometers (9 miles) from the center of Rovaniemi. After you make your reservation, we'll contact you to arrange the exact time. If your accommodation is located in the center of Rovaniemi, you'll have to go directly to the office located at Maakuntakatu 29.
