Midnight Sun SUP Tour
Midnight Sun SUP Tour
Having picked you up from your hotel in Rovaniemi at the scheduled time, we'll kick off our unforgettable paddle surfing activity under the midnight sun.
Arriving at your lakeside destination, you'll enjoy a lesson with an expert SUP, or "Stand Up Paddleboarding", instructor, who will explain the basic techniques you'll need to keep your balance and cruise across the lake while standing up on the paddle surf boards. Then, with your paddle in hand, it'll be time to get into the water!
While you paddle peacefully over the waters of Lapland, you'll be able to enjoy one of the most incredible natural sights to occur north of the Polar Arctic Circle: the midnight sun. Throughout the summer months, this unique spectacle gives the impression of an eternal sunset!
Next, we'll walk to the peak of a nearby hill and gaze out at a unique view of the stunning golden horizon: a breathtaking panoramic view that will undoubtedly stay with you forever.
At the end of your activity, you'll be taken back to Rovaniemi and dropped off at your hotel.
Midnight sun
The midnight sun is a natural phenomenon that occurs within the Arctic Circle during the summer. In Rovaniemi it can be seen from the start of June to the start of September and the White Nights take place in the last weeks of June, with the arrival of the summer solstice.
