Fuencaliente Snorkelling Activity
At 10 am, we'll meet at a diving school located on José Torres Hernández Street in Fuencaliente. After introducing ourselves, you'll get into your own car and follow the guide, who'll show you how to get to the beach in Southwest La Palma where we'll go snorkelling.
Once we've arrived, we'll put our wetsuits on and explain some safety rules that you'll need to follow during the activity. We'll get our flippers, snorkels and goggles on and jump into the water so we can start exploring the beautiful seabed. 3, 2, 1, Splash!
We'll spend 1 hour admiring the underwater life that thrives off the coast of the Fuencaliente municipality. During this hour, we'll see hundreds of fish such as Mediterranean parrotfish, dreamfish, white seabream, seabass and barracuda. As we admire this volcanic area's colourful seabed, we'll also be able to see solidified lava from the Teneguía volcano's 1971 eruption.
It'll then be time to come back up to the surface and say our goodbyes on Malpique Beach at 12 noon. If you'd like to continue snorkelling, you'll be able to keep using the equipment until 3 pm.
