La Palma Enchanted Forest Hike
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your chosen meeting point to begin this special hike, through the Cubo de la Galga Enchanted Forest. Let's go!
We'll explore the paths of the forest dotted with enormous ferns and hundreds of trees (8 kilometres) that provide shade and give the forest its magical appearance. The walk will take us to the Somada Alta viewpoint, the highest point on the route (800 metres above sea level/ 2624 ft.), where If the day is clear you'll be able to see the islands of Tenerife and La Gomera and also the towns of Los Sauces and San Andrés in the distance. Truly stunning!
We will begin the descent and during this part of the hike, we'll make our way past a small corner of the San Bartolomé viewpoint, between the Nogales and La Galga ravines. We'll also pass by La Montaña and Salto del Enamorado viewpoints, where we'll enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the eastern slopes of La Palma.
Finally, we'll say our goodbyes back at the starting point after around 4 hours together.

When making your booking, you'll be able to choose from which of the following meeting points you'd like to be picked up from:
- At 8 am at the Princess Hotel in Fuencaliente
- At 8 am at the Hotel Sol in Puerto Naos
- At 8:15 am at the bus station in Los Llanos de Aridane
- At 9 am at the bus stop of the Tourist Office of Cancajos
- At 9:05 am at the bus stop of the Cancajos Pharmacy
- At 9:20 am at the bus stop of line 2 (northbound) of Santa Cruz de la Palma
- At 10:15 am at the Pico de la Nieve crossroads
If you choose the option without transport, make your way to the carpark at Cubo de La Galga at 9:45 am.

A - There are two options: the full trail, of 11 km, 5 hours, with 450 m climb and 950 m descent - meaning it is of medium difficulty. If you choose to only do the first part, you will walk 7 km over 3 hours 30 minutes, with 150 metres climb and 300 m descent - making it an easy route. You can decide which to do on the day, by simply mentioning it to the guide.
