Numerous street artists have left their mark on the Polish capital over the years. We'll discover their main pieces of artwork by meeting up in front of the Kino Muranów cinema at the scheduled time and setting off on a free tour of Warsaw's street art.
Having introduced ourselves, we'll explore the parts of the city that are famous for their colourful street art. Among them, the Muranów district stands out, a former Jewish neighbourhood in Warsaw that suffered the horrors of the Holocaust. Today, the neighbourhood has been renovated and is home to a wide variety of street art.
While you may find the grey buildings built during the communist period dull, there's more than meets the eye. On several walls and courtyards here, you'll see plenty of murals that give the streets a unique splash of colour.
During the tour, we'll try to understand what these works of street art attempt to convey, as well as the stories of the artists who painted them. If you like photography, you'll also be able to take lots of fantastic photos.
After 2 hours spent admiring Warsaw's street art, our free tour will come to an end near the meeting point.
