Description
At the indicated time we'll start the electric bike tour around Vigo from Rúa de García Barbón. Are you ready to pedal?
To begin, we'll get to know Rosalía de Castro's relationship with Vigo. For this, we'll cycle along the Nautico to take in Vigo's coastline and visit the area which pays homage to Galician emigration.
The next stop will take us to Casco Vello, where we'll recount Vigo's history through the testimonies of those who lived during the 50s. We'll learn about their daily experiences and fascinating stories.
If we can, we'll enter the house-museum of Antonio, the last cesteiro in Vigo, whose experiences will help us to travel around Vigo accompanied by his memories. our next stop? We'll make our way to Castro Park to admire the breathtaking views of the Vigo Estuary. In the meantime, we'll hear about the city's seafaring tradition and the Battle of Rande. Ever heard of it?
Lastly, we'll cycle to the final viewpoint of the Vigo Estuary at the Vialia Shopping Cente terrace. We'll also take a ride on the award-winning futuristic Halo Lift.
Finally, 2 hours later, we'll return to the starting point. See you next time!
