Mount Etna Tour
Description
At the time indicated, we'll pick you up from the meeting point in Taormina and head by minibus to the heart of Etna National Park. Let's explore one of the most fascinating areas in Sicily!
During the trip, we'll provide a historical, geological, and volcanological overview of Mount Etna, as well as highlight various types of vegetation, including citrus orchards, vineyards, chestnut groves, and pine forests.
After approximately an hour and a half drive, we will reach an altitude of 1,900 meters (6,233 feet). We'll then disembark and you'll have 2.5 hours to explore the surroundings at your own pace.
Want to go higher? During your free time, you can book an additional tour to reach the maximum altitude, currently 2,750 meters (9,022 feet).
Then, we'll conclude this tour taking you back at the meeting point after 6 hours.
