Want to visit one of the most famous open-air markets of Lake Maggiore? On this excursion to Luino, we'll travel by boat to this Italian town, where you'll have three and a half hours free to explore its streets and monuments.

Luino Boat Excursion

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Piazza Guglielmo Marconi, where we'll board a boat that will take us to the Italian town of Luino, about an hour away.

During the crossing, we'll enjoy the beautiful views of the northern basin of Lake Maggiore. You'll be able to take hundreds of photos on board while we sail and see the castles of Cannero, the ruins of ancient fortresses built between the 11th and 12th centuries.

Once at our destination, we'll leave you three and a half hours of free time to explore Luino. You can take the opportunity to visit the Church of Carmine, stroll through Parco Ferrini and admire the façade of the Palazzo Verbania.

Don't miss the famous Luino market, one of the largest and oldest markets on Lake Maggiore, dating all the way back to 1535! This historic market, made up of more than 350 stalls, is one of the main tourist attractions of Luino. Food, clothing, flowers, accessories, beauty products... It's the perfect place to pick up some souvenirs!

We'll finish the excursion by arriving back at the starting point after a total of 7 hours.
