Prehistoric Park of Teverga Ticket
Why visit the Prehistoric Park?
At the Prehistoric Park of Teverga, you'll learn about the cave art that, during the Upper Paleolithic, appeared in different caves in Europe.
The museum consists of three modern buildings designed by the architect Dani Freixes, whose designs are perfectly integrated into the natural environment of Asturias. With your ticket, you'll be able to access the whole set of exhibition halls, located on the banks of the Páramo River.
The most outstanding space of the museum is Cueva de Cuevas, or 'Cave of Caves'. In this underground enclosure, you'll admire full-scale reproductions of three famous European cave paintings: the French cave of Niaux and the Asturian caves of Tito Bustillo and Candamo.
You'll be able to observe all the details of the cave paintings found in these grottos. Through the park's various panels, you'll also learn about the evolution of human beings and the origins of art.
