Yosemite National Park Day Trip

  • 507 reviews | 4,543 travellers
Express visit to Yosemite, on this visit you get to know in detail the most important parts of the park, since San Francisco is far from Yosemite, the time spent in the park is very well spent, they take you to the hot spots and leave you to enjoy free time (although I would have liked more but given the distance from the park it is impossible) Gino's attention was very pleasant, he provided us with water and the correct bus
    8 Almudena

On this tour we'll dive into the most famous national park in the United States, to discover all its secrets, including its giant sequoia groves, the world's tallest trees.

Yosemite National Park Day Trip

Having picked you up from your selected meeting point, we'll leave the city behind and head east. As we drive through the Sierra Nevada we'll pass through ghost towns from the old west and the gold rush.

As we arrive at Yosemite we'll begin our tour of the National Park, breathtaking spots like Tunnel View lookout point. Then, from the bus we'll admire sites like Half Dome (a granite rock formation, now emblem of the park), Bridalveil Falls (another famous waterfall, worshipped by the Ahwahneechee people), and of course Yosemite Village (a small town in the middle of the park).

Around noon, we'll stop at Yosemite Valley Lodge, where you will have free time to have lunch and explore the park at your own pace. During this time, you can also take one of the suggested hiking trails, or visit Yosemite Falls, the highest waterfall in North America, or capturing photos at the Swinging Bridge

After enjoying a couple of hours of free time, our next stop will be El Capitan, the largest granite monolith in the world, renowned for its challenging climbing routes. Following this, we will visit the Valley View lookout, where you can take in a stunning panoramic view of El Capitan and the Merced River.

Our final stop before leaving the park will be the giant sequoia forest at Tuolumne Grove, where you'll see some of the largest trees on the planet. Among them is the "Grizzly Giant," one of the world’s largest sequoias, with a base measuring nearly 30 meters (98 feet) in circumference

Following some incredible hours spent in the nation's most famous National Park, we'll begin our return journey to San Francisco, arriving 15.5 hours later.

Itinerary Changes

Due to safety reasons, in winter and at any other time that weather conditions prevent it, it will not be possible to visit the giant sequoia forest. Instead, we'll add stops at Meadow Loop and Swinging Bridge.
