Estartit and Medes Islands Cruise
Description
At the indicated time, we'll gather at your chosen meeting point, where we'll be waiting for you on board the boat that will take us across the Gulf of Roses and the Medes Islands. All aboard!
We'll start our adventure by crossing the Bay of Roses, considered one of the 30 most beautiful bays in the world. Throughout the cruise, we'll enjoy this wonderous landscape characterised by more than 45 kilometres (27 miles) of beaches and 15 kilometres (9 miles) of coves, and, of course, crystal clear waters.
The captain will continue sailing south until we reach the Medes Islands, an archipelago made up of seven islets. These are part of the Montgrí Natural Park and constitute one of the most important reserves of marine flora and fauna in the western Mediterranean.
Our adventure will then take us to Estartit, where we'll disembark and leave you free time to visit the market and the port before again setting sail northwards along the coastline of Montgrí.
Along the way, we'll pass by places such as the Foradada cave, Cap del Castell, Cala Montgó, the port of l'Escala, Sant Pere Pescador, Sant Martí d'Empúries and Ampuriabrava. Finally, we'll reach the Rubina beach and return to the ports of Santa Margarida and the Rosas pier.
After a 5-hour boat trip, we'll be back at the meeting point.
