Puerto del Carmen PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course
Description
At 9 am, we'll meet on Roque Nublo Street in Puerto del Carmen and start our PADI Discover Scuba Diving course in southeastern Lanzarote.
First, you'll attend a 45-minute theory lesson in which we'll explain the basic concepts you'll need to understand when you're underwater. When you're ready, we'll grab our scuba diving equipment and hop in a vehicle that'll take us to Playa Chica.
We'll spend 30 minutes diving down to a depth of 20 feet (6 metres) in the Atlantic Ocean. During this first dive, we'll practise some exercises to help you feel completely at ease underwater. We'll then take a break and get our energy back with a drink and a snack.
Afterwards, we'll get back in the sea for a 45-minute dive. This time, we'll descend to a depth of 40 feet (12 metres). At this depth, you'll start to feel a change in the pressure as well as an unparalleled silence not found above water. You'll also be able to observe shoals of fish and, if we're lucky, you may also see starfish, sea urchins and moray eels.
Now a scuba diving expert, you'll head back to shore and return to the starting point, where the activity will finish at 2 pm.
