Rhode Island Guided Tour
Rhode Island Guided Tour
At 10 am, we'll meet just outside the Visitor's Center and from here, we'll board a bus to explore the state of Rhode Island.
The tour will start by heading to Roger Williams Park, one of the most popular green spaces in the city of Providence, where we can find the Roger Williams Zoo, the Museum of Natural History and Planetarium, the Botanical Centre and up to seven different lakes.
The next stops of the day are Pawtuxet Village and George B. Salter Memorial Grove Park. Afterwards, we'll arrive at Wickford Village, a picturesque fishing village, full of colonial charm, where you can enjoy lunch at any of the local restaurants nearby.
With our batteries recharged, we'll head to Beavertail Lighthouse to admire the beautiful views of the Atlantic. Did you know it's the third oldest lighthouse in the United States? Afterwards, we'll continue our tour of Rhode Island by visiting other Rhode Island highlights such as Newport, full of lavish mansions, King Park, Ocean Drive and Bristol - did you know that Bristol is considered to be the most patriotic city in the country?
Finally, we'll visit the largest gift shop in New England, and then we'll visit Brown University and Prospect Terrace Park before taking you back to the starting point of the tour, where we'll arrive at 5 pm.
