At the indicated time we'll meet at Via Pompeo Sarnelli to start a tasting of typical products in Polignano a Mare. Are you ready to enjoy the gastronomy of Apulia?
To do so, we'll take a tour of the facilities of an agricultural farm in Polignano a Mare, where we'll immerse ourselves in the authenticity of the Apulia region. There we'll learn about the 0 KM products harvested in the area and the importance of sustainability in their production.
After gaining insight into the farm's production process, it'll be time to apply our knowledge with a tasting! You'll get to pair the recipes with a choice of Negroamaro, Primitivo, Verdeca, or Rosato wine. Alternatively, you can opt for a craft beer or water.
Then, you'll be served 8 different dishes, each with a detailed explanation ranging from its history to the harvesting of its ingredients. Taralli, cheese, salumi, focaccia... All of these delicacies will take you on a culinary journey through the flavours of Apulia.
An hour and a half later, we'll say goodbye at the entrance of the farm, ending this gastronomic experience in Polignano a Mare.
