Upper Antelope Canyon Hiking Activity
Tour Details
Having met up at your selected meeting point, we'll travel to one of the most incredible natural areas in Arizona. Antelope Canyon awaits!
During our hiking activity, we'll visit the Upper Antelope Canyon, which is the most well-known and photographed part of this gorge. When we get there, we'll start walking between the sandstone walls that were formed by flash flooding over millions of years.
The force of millions of years of wind erosion has also created a narrow slot at the top of the canyon that allows light to enter and reflect off the walls, creating beautiful patterns.
As we hike through the Upper Antelope Canyon, you'll be able to take lots of pictures of the fascinating light effects and admire the striking colors that flit across the sand walls. In addition, we'll learn all about the culture of the local Navajo Indigenous Peoples.
Finally, after an hour of hiking through the Upper Antelope Canyon, we'll return to the starting point and finish the activity, where we'll arrive around 1.5 hours after the initial meeting.
