At the indicated time, we'll meet you in front of the Oviedo train station and head by minibus to the Natural Park of Ponga, 1 hour 30 minutes away from the city. Did you know that this is the least densely populated council of Asturias?
During the route through the park, we'll see capercaillies, wolves and deer. If we have good weather, we may even see a European brown bear in its natural habitat.
Depending on the weather, we'll continue our excursion in the Ponga Natural Park to the villages of Casielles or Viboli. Our day trip will then take us to the Les Bedules viewpoint, which will give us a unique view of the eastern massif of the Picos de Europa and the valley of the Ponga river. Cameras at the ready!
Afterwards, we'll go down the valley until we reach Sobrefoz, a charming village where you'll have free time to enjoy lunch at your leisure.
The last stop will be in Sellaño, where we'll take the chance to talk about the wildlife of the Ponga Natural Park.
Finally, we'll return to the meeting point in Oviedo, arriving nine and a half hours after departure.
