Como, Bellagio & Bellano Day Trip
Description
On the day of the activity, we'll meet at Piazza della Repubblica in Milan and board a bus that will take us to Como. Let's go!
After about an hour's journey, we'll reach our first destination. Accompanied by a guide, we'll explore the centre of Como, visiting the elegant Piazza Volta, the central Piazza Cavour, and the imposing 15th-century Duomo. As well as that, while in the centre, you'll have some free time to admire the luxurious shops or enjoy a romantic stroll by the lake.
Afterwards, we'll hop back on the bus and head to Cadenabbia, a small town on the shore of Lake Como. Did you know that this village was a popular holiday destination for many aristocrats such as Queen Victoria of England and Nicholas II of Russia? From Cadenabbia, we'll board a boat and enjoy a cruise in which we'll admire some of the most enchanting villas on the shores of the lake.
Continuing our day, we'll head to Bellagio, also known as the 'Pearl of Lake Como'. After arriving, you'll have some free time to spend exploring the streets of this picturesque village.
Later, we'll enjoy the scenic landscape surrounded by mountains until we reach the historic village of Bellano. In this charming village, we recommend visiting the Church of SS. Nazaro e Celso. Be sure to also buy some local olive oil as a souvenir.
Finally, after an enriching day, we'll say our goodbyes as we return to Milan, 11 hours after the start of the tour. Arrivederci!
