The Valley of the Kings was a royal burial ground for pharaohs, including Tutankhamun, Seti I, and Ramses II, as well as queens, high priests and other Elites during Egypt's New Kingdom (1539-1075 BC).

Where is the Valley of the Kings?

The Valley of the Kings is located on the outskirts of Luxor, not far from other key archaeological sites, including the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon.

How to visit
