Merzouga to Marrakech 3 Day Private Tour
Description
Day 1: Fez - Ifrane - Azrou - Erfoud - Merzouga
After picking you up at your hotel or riad in Fez, we'll set out for the desert of Merzouga. On the way, we'll pass through towns such as Ifrane, "the Moroccan Switzerland". We'll also visit the landscapes of Azrou, one of the most captivating villages in this part of Africa.
We'll continue our route through the Valley and the Ziz Gorges to the bucolic Erfoud. At sunset, we'll take a camel ride through the Merzouga desert. Once we have recovered our strength with a dinner under the stars, we'll spend the night in a Haima camp.
Day 2: Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley
Still captivated by the unforgettable experience of watching the sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga, we'll have breakfast and then start our route towards the Todra Gorges, whose incredible landscapes will leave us speechless!
Our day will end in the fascinating natural environment of the Dades Valley, where we'll have dinner and rest in a hotel until the next day.
Day 3: Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech
Onc we've had breakfast at the hotel we'll go to Ouarzazate, and visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.
After enjoying a few minutes of free time for lunch, we'll start our route through various Amazigh villages at the foot of the Atlas, one of the most important mountain ranges in Morocco. Around 6 pm we'll finally arrive in Marrakech.
Accommodation
When making your reservation you can choose from two different categories of accommodation: standard (2 and 3 stars) or superior (4 stars).
Standard Hotels:
- Merzouga Desert (first night): standard haima camp (see pictures below).
- Dades Valley (second night): Babylon Hotel, Kasbah Tifawen, Auberge Panorama or similar
Superior Hotels:
- Merzouga Desert (first night): upper haima camp (see images below).
- Dades Valley (second night): Xaluca Hotel, La Perle Du Dades, Auberge Chez Pierre, Ksar Sultan or similar.

Types of Rooms
In the hotels and desert camps, single rooms aren't available, they are always double rooms. If you prefer, triple or family rooms are also available. Standard rooms have common showers in the camp, while superior rooms have a private bathroom in the haimas and showers in the camp. Also, air-conditioning in the luxury camps has an additional charge of € 30 (US$ 90) per person.
