Fort Worth Private Day Trip
Description
Once we pick you up from your hotel in Dallas, we'll set off on a journey to Fort Worth, a Texan town that was once known as the "crossroads of cowboys and culture" - we'll discover why cattle are so important to their culture and tradition!
After half an hour's drive, we'll arrive at our destination - welcome to the Old West! Accompanied by our guide, we'll walk through the streets of Fort Worth to discover Sundance Square. Did you know that it's one of the most beautiful squares in the city? Shops, restaurants, museums, cinemas and theatres, it has it all! There, we'll go to The Bass Performance Hall, a large concert hall with a very imposing façade.
Next, we'll continue our private tour by walking down Main Street, the setting for the famous TV series 'Walker, Texas Ranger' starring Chuck Norris.
The next stop will be in front of the John F. Kennedy Memorial. Did you know that he stayed in Fort Worth the day before his death?
Finally, we'll go to the historic area of the old west, known as Stock Yards, where the red brick buildings, timber yards, and saloons, remain in a bygone era. We'll hear all about the history of the city and the importance of this particular corner for its inhabitants.
The private tour will end back at your hotel in Dallas 2.5 hours later.
