Ticket for the Jurassic Museum of Asturias
The MUJA, the Jurassic Museum of Asturias, houses one of the most fascinating paleontological exhibitions in the region.
With your ticket to the museum, you can learn about the colossal prehistoric animals that inhabited the so-called Costa de los Dinosaurios (Dinosaur Coast). Tons of fantastically preserved fossils have been found in this area of the Cantabrian coast and some of them are on exhibition at the MUJA.
The museum itself is built in the shape of a gigantic dinosaur footprint and was designed by the prestigious architect Rufino García Uribelarrea. Its design allowed the construction of large halls, where you'll enjoy a unique exhibition dedicated not only to the Jurassic but also to the other two great eras of the Mesozoic: the Cretaceous and the Triassic.
You'll be blown away by the size of the dinosaur bones. In the museum gardens, you'll also be able to see life-size reproductions of various prehistoric animals such as diplodocus, stegosaurus, and tyrannosaurs.
Opening Hours
The Jurassic Museum of Asturias is open during the following hours:
- February, November, and December: Wednesday to Friday between 10 am and 2:30 pm. Weekends and public holidays, from 10:30 am to 6 pm.
- From 1st March to 30th June and from 1st September to 31st October: Wednesday to Friday between 10 am and 5 pm. Weekends and public holidays, from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm.
- From 1st July to 31 August: Daily from 10:30 am to 7 pm.
Please be aware that the last admission time is one hour before closing time.
The MUJA Garden is open from 10 am to 9:30 pm on the same days the Museum is open (except Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays in February, November, and December, when it'll be open from 10 am to 2:30 pm).

Admission to the museum is free on Wednesdays, so you won't be able to acquire a ticket for that day through our website.
