Private Day Trip from Boston
Private Day Trips
When booking your private day trip from Boston, you can choose one of the following options, which includes a pickup from your hotel at the designated time, a guide, transport, and a transfer back to your accommodation:
Day Trip to Cambridge, Lexington, and Concord (6 Hours)
After picking you up at your hotel, we'll first stop in Bunker Hill, a site that's very linked to the Independence War. We'll then visit Cambridge, home to two of the most famous universities in the United States–MIT and Harvard.
Our journey will then continue in Lexington, where we'll stop at Battle Green Park and Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord.
Day Trip to Newport (8 Hours)
After a journey of 1 and a half hours, we'll arrive in Newport, one of the prettiest coastal cities in New England.
In this town, we'll see the Marble House from the outside, a mansion from 1892 that was a birthday gift for the famous multimillionaire Alva Vanderbilt. Afterward, you'll have an hour of free time in the port area where you can grab some lunch.
After lunch, we'll see another famous mansion in Newport called Breakers, which was built by one of the richest men in the United States. This millionaire from the Golden Age had everything his heart could desire for a summer escape: a classic Italian palace design, the best American and European artisanal crafts, views of the sea, and modern technology.
Day Trip to Plymouth (8 Hours)
After a 30-minute journey and leaving behind Boston, we'll make a quick stop in Quincy, the birthplace of two presidents of the United States: John Adams and John Quincy Adams.
Our next stop will be in Plymouth, where we'll discover the location where the colonies first landed and established themselves in New England.
Afterward, you'll explore the main streets of the city and have an hour of free time to have lunch. After lunch, we'll see the replica of the Mayflower II boat from outside to then begin our journey back to Boston.
