Aranjuez Private Tour
Aranjuez Private Tour
We'll plan to rendezvous next to Café de Damas in Aranjuez, where our private tour will kick off. As we make our way towards the majestic gates of the Royal Palace of Aranjuez, we'll take our time to admire every detail of its exterior architecture.
While we won't have the chance to explore the interior, we'll delve into the rich history of this grand palace, once the preferred vacation spot among Spanish nobility during the spring months. We'll uncover more about its storied past as we stroll by the Casas de Oficios y Caballeros next to the Royal Site.
During our private tour, we'll venture into the gardens surrounding the Royal Palace of Aranjuez, where we'll encounter the grounds of the King, Queen, Parterre, and Island gardens. We'll discover an array of sculptures, including the striking Child of the Thorn. And no visit would be complete without seeing iconic fountains like the Clock, Hercules and Hydra, and Apollo.
Next up, we'll head into the historic center of Aranjuez, a charming area whose layout served as inspiration for the urban design of Washington DC. We'll learn even more fun facts like this along the way! As we wander, we'll admire the architectural splendor of the Casas Palaciegas and the Infantes as well.
Then, after 2 hours exploring this small town outside of Madrid, we'll end our private tour at San Antonio Square, next to the baroque church of San Antonio and Padua with the Mariblanca Fountain.
