Cape Cat & Mojácar Day Trip
Cape Cat & Mojácar Day Trip
At 9:30 am we'll meet at 58 Morato street in Almeria. Once on the bus, we'll head to Cape Cat. Let's go!
The first stop will be at the Cape Cat Lighthouse. This 19th-century building stands in the middle of Almería's desert and has been a key strategic point for guarding the Mediterranean Sea since Phoenician times. Nearby, we'll find the beautiful Mermaid's Viewpoint where you can take some photos of the stunning natural scenery.
Before continuing the excursion, we'll stop for half an hour at a café on the way, in case you want to grab a bite to eat for breakfast. Our next destination is at the fossil dune of Los Escullos, an incredible coastal landscape shaped by the winds where we'll stay for about twenty minutes.
Then, we'll be en route towards Mojácar, where you'll have between two and two and a half hours of free time to stroll through the old town and have lunch on your own.
After lunch, we'll return to the bus and pass through the fishing village of Carboneras and head over to the Mirador de la Granatilla, where you'll be able to appreciate the deep tranquility of Almeria. Get your cameras ready!
After a wonderful day touring Almería's treasures, we'll return to the city at 5:30 pm.
